Welcome to The Black Parade (sorry, I couldn't resist) (MCR, please don't sue me)

It’s about time I actually got my mailing list started. I promise you will not be flooded!

If you’re here, it’s probably because you’ve come across my recently released novel, The Black Parade (NineStar Press, available at most online retailers) and signed up to my mailing list. As a thank you treat, I’m sending you a sneak peak at some character art, which I’ll post on Instagram later this week. It’s a scene from chapter twenty-eight, so slightly spoilery, but not in a significant way. I mean, you really should be able to guess something like this would happen from the beginning.

The artist is Ada, aka @greenmoonie on Instagram and @green-moonie on Tumblr. She’s incredibly talented, and working with her was a great experience. She was extremely patient with my particularity.

God, I love the glow of the candlelight. (They’re dancing to Frankenstein by Editors, FYI.)

My next post will probably be about how the song referenced in the title directly inspired many thematic aspects of the book, in contradiction to what one random reader who read 10% and gave it one star said. Not that I’m bitter.
